I’ve been trying to say this for awhile, so much of the “there are hardly any people involved and who cares if a few amateur competitions are uncompetitive anyway” is self refuting! You can either think the issue matters or that it doesn’t, but you can’t say “it’s meaningless” while also asserting that it’s super duper important that you get your way on it.
Oh, and it was apparently important enough for changing Title IX rules toward forcing trans inclusion in sports was one of Biden’s first acts.
