Last week, Bernie Sanders went on The Flagrant Podcast and nodded along while one of the hosts spouted the canard that the 2016 and 2020 Democratic Primaries were fixed. Here’s the clip:

First, it’s well past time to say this: Know-nothing comedians with highly-affected appearances are a big problem in our national dialogue. If it’s not this asshat with his Clark Gable mustache and his Mister-Rogers-except-not-as-butch sweater, then it’s Theo Von with his ironic power mullet. I haven’t seen much from either, but what I’ve seen suggests that neither knows jack shit about fuck all. Say what you will about me: I just wear normal stuff. You can think I’m not funny, you can think my opinions are trash, but at least I’m creating my bland garbage in jeans and a t-shirt like a grown-up.
