Did it play? The link isn’t dead? If it played, then that’s terrible news — that farting baby penguin is a harbinger of the end of democracy (is a sentence that I thought I’d never write). Because that penguin is on TikTok, and TikTok is supposed to be banned in the US. Congress passed a law, the president signed the law, the Supreme Court upheld the law, and the law has been published in US Statutes at Large. That’s a fucking law, folks; no two ways about it. But I can get on TikTok right now and watch farting penguins until I’m blue in the face, which is not what I expected autocracy to feel like, but here we are.
