European leaders have largely rebuffed President Trump’s request for help reopening the Strait of Hormuz. The rift between Trump and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer seems to be particularly wide, with Trump singling Starmer out for criticism in recent remarks.

I Might Be Wrong has obtained leaked drafts of Prime Minister Starmer’s response to President Trump’s request. These memos — written personally by Mr. Starmer — were transmitted to his staff, to be turned into communications with the American government. However, only the final memo was transmitted; the earlier ones represent drafts that Mr. Starmer chose to revise. The memos are presented in full along with the time at which Mr. Starmer sent them to his staff.
