LEAKED: The Justice Department's Correspondence About Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia
The scoop the NY Times would have gotten if they weren't 90% word games these days
On April 4, District Court Judge Paula Xinis ordered the government to return Maryland resident Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia — who was deported to a prison in El Salvador in violation of a court order — to the US no later than April 7. On April 10, with Mr. Abrego Garcia still incarcerated in El Salvador, the Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that the government should “facilitate and effectuate the return” of Mr. Abrego Garcia.
Despite these orders, the Justice Department has failed to provide a detailed account of the government’s efforts to secure Mr. Garcia’s release. Judge Xinis has ordered the government to communicate what steps they are taking to return Mr. Abrego Garcia, but the Trump administration has given only vague responses in reply. Even the Justice Department’s own lawyer has expressed confusion about Mr. Abrego Garcia’s status.
In an I Might Be Wrong exclusive, we have obtained the complete correspondence between the Justice Department and the Judge Xinis. That correspondence is published below.

Gallows humor
The Houthi text article was great. This is too, but the situation is too depressing for it to be as hilarious as it should be
